Bayeux

Historic city in the heart of the landing beaches, Bayeux is an old medieval city with many cultural places: the Bayeux Tapestry, the Cathedral of Notre-Dame de Bayeux but also museums such as the Museum of Art & History Baron Gérard  (MAHB) or the Museum of the Battle of Normandy. It is also the first city to be liberated in France in 1944. The many shops and restaurants will make your stay perfect.

You can also stroll along the banks of the Aure (river that crisscrosses the city) and discover the natural spaces surrounding Bayeux.

Norman heritage

Normandy is known for its rich heritage of know-how. You can discover many cider houses and taste the famous Calvados (to be enjoyed in moderation).

Indulge in the gustatory pleasure of our region: camembert, teurgoule, oysters and seafood, caramels from Isigny or shortbread from Asnelles. Dare to be refined by exploring the world of Bayeux lace or its porcelain (MAHB).
